 E' un archivio informatizzato diviso in diversi databases tematici, per la ricerca di dati e documenti sull'emigrazione.
Attualmente i databases contengono:
11.977 dati con foto ricavati dai passaporti rilasciati a sammarinesi fra il 1923 e il 1961 e circa 5.000 rinnovi;
16.298 dati ricavati dai fogli di via rilasciati a sammarinesi fra il 1856 e il 1923;
1.550 dati ricavati dai registri dei passaporti che documentavano il movimento migratorio della popolazione sammarinese fra il 1835 e il 1861;
5.914 dati ricavati dalle matrici dei fogli di via rilasciati a sammarinesi fra il 1868 e il 1923 e relativi rinnovi; 5.000 dati circa riguardanti i rientri a San Marino dal 1960 al 1985;
1500 foto donate che testimoniano l'esperienza migratoria sammarinese dal 1850 al 1990;
200 lettere private e ufficiali, alcune aggiornate con trascrizione del testo.
L'archivio può essere consultato per ricerca o per interesse personale presso il Museo dell'Emigrante con l'aiuto dell'esperto.
Per i cittadini che risiedono all'estero è stata data l'opportunità al Presidente della Comunità di accedere via internet, con una speciale password, all'archivio per permettere la ricerca anche fuori territorio.
I databases vengono aggiornati in progress.

 It is a computerized archive divided into different thematic databases, for the searching of data and documents on emigration.
Actually the databases contain:
11.977 data with photos obtained from the passports issued to San Marino citizens from 1923 to 1961 and about 5000 extension; 16.298 data obtained from expatriation sheets issued to San Marino citizens from 1856 to 1923; 1.550 data obtained from the passport registers that document the migration movement of sammarinese population from 1835 to 1861; 5.914 data obtained from expatriation sheets stubs issued to sammarinese citizens from 1868 to 1923 and respective renewals; about 5.000 data concerning the re-entries in San Marino from 1960 to 1985; 1.500 photos donated that are evidence of the sammarinese migratory experience from 1850 to the nineties; 200 private and official letters, some updated with the transcription of text.
The Archive can be consulted for the search or the personal interest in Emigrant Museum with the help of the expert.
The Museum gives to the President of Community of the citizens that live in foreign country the opportunity to enter with a special password to the Archive. Using internet they are allowed to search also outside the territory.
